The goal of the project was to strategically build Tom Ford further than he already is. Set with a date of 2030, the team needed to find a way to push Tom Ford into a new market without alienating his loyal consumer base.
The team studied Tom Ford's aesthetic and engulfed themselves in the Tom Ford world. This was done via previously recorded interviews as well as articles, books, and movies Tom Ford produced such as Nocturnal Animals (2016) and A Single Man (2009). Watching movies, he directed allowed the team to understand who Tom Ford is as not just a designer, but a human.
After research, the team of collaborators found it fitting to stretch Tom Ford into the household furniture market. Marketing strategies were then thoroughly thought out to ensure the highest visibility of the new venture in true Tom Ford fashion.
